Steamcmd to download mods

I bought a game (stellaris if that is important) on gog and since a lot of mods are only available on steam, I would like to download the mods from steam. As far as I know this is not possible without a bit of work, please correct me if there is an obvious/easy way. Currently I'm trying to use steamcmd (on windows 10). Here is what I did:
