Chrome crash when downloading file

Chrome crashing when trying to save files I swear to God I am going to install IE just so I stop getting this. Almost every time I click on something to download - regardless of site, file extension, etc. when the dialog box for Save in location pops, it becomes blank and stuck and I have to shut down Chrome from task manager.
